Hi all,
I have not posted in a long time because I have been busy with work, on the road, and away from home for extended periods.
I have finally returned home and started working on some new songs as well as building a new computer with an Intel i7 950 processor and an OCZ Vertex 3 SSD, so it should be very fast.
The songs I am working on are in the style of 80s pop-rock. Some of the working titles are...

Harlot's Sleeves
Our Love Letters

Morning, Noon, and Night
The songs are in various stages of early development. Only a couple of the songs have lyrics and the remainder have basic outlines of the melody only (I am a music first, lyrics last guy).
I have the basic melody recorded for the first song, which is only me on my midi keyboard (very simple arrangement). I consider it a very rough pre-demo midi at this point. The brief silent pauses are for drums and other instrumental fills in the future.
It's a song about someone being used once a week in an apparent love triangle, with more than a little unhealthy obsession mixed in.
