Sound Card : Sound Blaster Audigy Gamer
Equipment:
Alesis SR-16 Drum machine
Problem:
I am trying to hook up the Alesis SR-16 via midi connector cable to the Sound Blaster Audigy. I have the correct joystick/midi cable connector. I want to set up the drum machine as a midi "send" into the computer. I would also like to use SoundFont Sounds as the "triggered" sound in the computer.
I am well versed in computers, but for some reason programming the drum machine to obey my commands is eluding me. I am hoping someone can give me detailed instructions on the setup of the SR-16 and how to use the soundfonts. Thanks in advance.
