overall sounds pretty good.
crashes at the ends of choruses (0:43) sound out of place, either too loud or needs kick with it...
drums could sound a little tighter / punchier.
ending is great!

please let me know how I can improve. thanks!

Catchy right from the intro....I like it. Found the snare a tad loud....
The arrangement is good - very 60's Beatles'ish.

Not sure about the outro though...things were cooking along then got more mellow.....Maybe it needs more instrumental backups there - (just my first impression so take it with a large grain of salt)

I do like the songwriting and performance overall - I would call this a hit for sure....

:) :D :) :D

Wow it does sound a lot like the beatles. From the guitars to the vocal harmonies it just screams beatles. It sucks when you write a song that was ment for another time period or band.

The reverse solo is a great and anyone that can pull it off is pretty cool in my book. I really love the song though in the 60s in britain it would of been a sure chart topper. And if you had your equipment you had now you coulda even done it outta your house.

LOL Crazy outro, love absolutly love it.

I'd say the vocals are more Peter and Gordon-ish than Beatles. The outro makes me wonder how many 60's tunes had endings like this that were performed in the studio but taken out for obvious 60's commercial censorship reasons.

Crash cymbal would be better a bit lower IMO.

thanks much! will work on the drum sound. you don't think the outro is a bit much? ;)

as a side note... I just want to say one thing about the outro: drugs

Depends. It's a contrast for sure to the rest of the song. Are you aiming the song at listeners who will want something edgy to keep it from being too pop-ish?

hmm, I don't really have a target audience in mind

I'm not sure that this song is really a "keeper" so to speak. It doesn't really fit with the rest of my album that I'm working on. A good B-side? but surely not a hit song?

Sounds good to me. I agree with the crash being to out front.

I got to agree with the 60's thing. Not the beatles to me (it's to happy), but 60's for sure.

Very nice!
