Delta66/Omni I/O

I’m currently using the Delta66/Omni I/O and am planning on upgrading the preamp. Since much of my recording is trumpet and flute jazz and classical, I am looking for a natural sound and have my eye on the Avalon M5. My questions are:
- Can I connect the preamp out to the Omni in (turning off the Onmi preamp)?
- And if that is the case should I still be able to use the headphone and other outs on the Omni while recording?
- Also any feedback on the Avalon M5 would be appreciated.

Not trying to be an ass but you should read the manual (again).
- Can't comment about the M5. For more feedback, I'd suggest you post that question in the Rack forum.
