Delta 66

Hello again and thanks to all who keep helping me. I'm about to throw a fit. I tried installing a delta 66 in my computer and it won't go in! How hard do I have to push? I'm afraid to break the sound card or something more important. I realise this is a lame post but can somebody help me? Thanks

Medium thumb pressure should be enough. You shouldn't have to use body weight or push real hard. Make sure it's a PCI slot, and not something else. Disconnect your CPU and take it to whoever sold you the Delta (you're SOL if it was mail order, I guess) - but don't force it. Or get a buddy who works with PCs to help.

Good luck. I usually try to get help when I do installations, even easy ones, cos I just don't have that touch. No prob with my Delta, though.
 
Make sure you are using two hands and pushing down on the outer edges, and not using one thumb and pushing down in the middle. Get a buddy to help and bring a 6-pack for his time!
