Delta 66 s/pdif out? also Monitor hum

hi - due to wicked hum in my monitors (roland DS-50A), apparently from my new LCD computer monitor, I tried connecting the digital out from the Delta 66 card, to the digital input on the Rolands (it has both analog & digital). Routed the Delta Control Panel to "H/W Out s/pdif" to "WavOut s/Pdif", but NO SOUND at all. Any ideas? How about a way to eliminate the hum from the LCD monitor, if I use the analog outs? Thank very much!
 
forgot to mention - I'm using Calewalk guitar tracks pro, and also routed the output to "Delta 66 S/PDIF" in the software.
