When I play either an audio file or if I play though Cubase SX 3, I see that I have no control in the Control Panel. There a few odd things that are taking place. If I play a regular audio file the music is using outpus 1/2, but when I use cubase it uses 3/4. I cannot switch cubase to use 1/2 but I desire to do so. However the major problem is that the volume faders have NO EFFECT on the sound!! I can raise the volume using Windows Media player volume or I can use the faders in Cubase to control the volume, but like I just said the Delta faders are useless!!

Keep in mind I have had the delta 44 for about 3 years now and this has never happend before. I just recently reformatted my computer so I had to reinstall everything.

Drivers maybe?

Or are things still using the onboard sound card? (don't know if you even have one, but mine is set this way for playback...)

Just some thoughts...... :o

In the Patchbay/Router section of the driver, make sure HW 1/2 outputs are set to Monitor Mixer. This faders only control that little internal mixer, so you have to make sure that you are going through it!

You probably have things set up wrongly in Cubase too, make sure you have made Wave Out 1/2 your default pair in Cubase's preferences/audio settings thingy.

Thanks Noisedude, You just solved my problem!!!! It was soo simple too.... :D
