I just got my Delta 44 set up and there seems to be an audio problem already. A gurgling sound on all the recorded tracks....how do I get rid of this?
It is a brand new card on a brand new computer (plenty of power). I'm using it on cakewalk and it is recording and monitoring, but the quality is obviously messed up. Any ideas other than checking connections...I've done that.

Shame on you!

You should know better than to double post. Tsk Tsk Tsk...

Be more specific about your problem and you'll get better advice.

What is your system config?

- processor/motherboard
- operating system
- latest delta drivers for your o/s?
- software you use to record?
- ram/hard drive setup
- any other soundcards besides the delta?
- any odd hardware i.e. food replicators, flux capacitors, etc..

Have you tried some basic troubleshooting? Start simple, use known good cords and instrument, record a basic track. What does the distortion sound like exactly?

Check your system config for IRQ's... is anything sharing IRQ's with the Delta Card? If so try putting it in a different PCI slot and see if you can get a clear IRQ.

I have the same card running exceptionally well, so I know it's possible.
