Delta 410 ==> Mixing Board

On the back of the box of the delta, it shows an output coming from the computer to the mixing board, which leads me to beleive that there is a way to effect my tracks that were recorded to the computer with my mixing board after recording is over.

Can i mix my songs using the mixingboard, soundcard, and some program?

If not, why have an output go to the mixing board?

That's exactly what ten outputs are good for.

Traditionally, with a multitrack tape deck or an ADAT, you would record the raw tracks to tape, and then mix through a mixing board to a stereo master, typically a stereo tape machine or a DAT. You would add effects by routing some of the channels out to an effects device and back in through the Effects sends and returns, blend them in with the already-recorded raw stuff, until you achieved the desired results.

With a card like the 410 you can more easily work with external effects on individual tracks.
 
i dont see how 10 outputs could help me change individual tracks after recording is over...if i put the mixing board into one input then all of my tracks from the mixing board will be recorded to one track on the computer
