i want to know if i buy a DELTA 1010LT with a 12-track hardware mixer would be better than OmniStudio or not which is basically a DELTA 66 with a breakbox that has only 6 inputs and 6 outputs.

then DELTA 1010LT can record simulanteously with 10 inputs. also, the price would not be too much difference.

anyone can share the connection between DELTA 1010LT?

i want to records vocal, guitar, harmonica, piano last least at the same time.

thanks a lot!

The 1010LT would be better for you. You get 8 analog inputs (+ 2 digital & a couple of preamps). The 66 only gives you 4 analog inputs (+ 2 digital ), so you'd be maxing it out straight away

any suggestions on the mixer? can i connect from 1010LT to say 8-track mixer by using the attached cables of 1010LT alone?

thanks!

Yeh you just use 1/4" to rca converters.

Have a look at the Yamaha MG12/4 mixer. I use one, it works real well, & they're not expensive

will the sound quality degraded if using the rca converter? if i buy, i need to buy 10 then as there're 10 analog input? right?

do i need to buy any converters for the output?

The LT has 8 analog ins & 8 outs.

All the plugs are rca, except for 2 xlr inputs. If your mixer is reasonably close to the breakout cables, ie within say 15 feet, you won't lose any sound quality.

If you're outputting back to your mixer or to an amp, these will propably use rca as well
