Delta 1010LT question

Hey folks,
I, too, am new to computer recording and have a quick question. I have a 1010LT card installed. Line outs 1 & 2 are going to the studio monitors and the sound is excellent. I went out of L/O 3 & 4 into a headphone amp and am getting a very muffled sound. I then tried another mixer and got the same results.
Any ideas?
 
What is feeding the 1010 3/4 outputs? You'll have to set up an aux bus send in your DAW software using that output to hear anything. Each tracks Aux Send fader then determines the headphone mix.

An alternate solution is to put the main monitors on 3/4, use that for your main playback in your software, then you can have the headphones on 1/2 with the control panel mixer selecting what's in the phones (and on the patchbay page, select Monitor mixer in the Out1/2 column).
