My Delta 1010lt shipped with a driver from 10-04.
Looking at the website, the release notes only say;
Updated Driver Installer Package

Added Support for Pro Tools M-Powered

Note Added (11/14/2005): This driver has been qualified for use with Pro Tools M-Powered 7.0
Since I do not have, nor do I intend to buy any pro-tool product in the next century, is there any advantage to d/l'ing the newest driver?

My 'puter in the cellar does not have an active internet connection, so if I can avoid the whole pain in the arse...

Furthermore, is the added pro-tool functionality of the newest driver a possible liability to non-protool users?

if everything is working fine, i would'nt worry about it. i use the 1010lt also and it seems to be doing what it's supposed to do. i'm not gonna worry about it.

Thanks.

So that's the driver from 10-04 (Ver.102004 I think...) you are using?

I wouldn't worry, Ryan, unless you have some difficulty. If all works well, then it is fine...

You know me well! :D

I don't remember which driver I'm running. My pc is up in my parents attic at the moment. That's what I get for being a retard and leaving a good job though. :D

Ewww, the attic?
You'd be much better off storing it in a cellar... :)

Umm, in...between...stuff... I guess :D

Cleared for a 3-4 day this weekend.
Business as usual until Friday, @ approximately 1700.

I'm almost sorted out in the cellar.

i did'nt see any while i was there. i lived in one in georgia though. i'm sure i'd feel right out home in cellardweller's digs.

I like to keep up to date with my drivers but I've never had an issue with any of them. I don't have an internet connection on my DAW either, I just download and burn to disk on another computer and instal from there.

Current Delta driver I'm using is 5.10.00.0051, panel version 1.03.26 - 26.00....actualy I just noticed it has the M Powered logo on the About screen
