Well, I recently purchased a Delta 1010 and a Mackie 1202-vlz pro. I am using my Sony Reciever for speaker output. My question is:

How do I set them up?

1) Do I run out of the 1010 into the MD/DAT inputs of the sony reciever for the speaker sound? Or do I run from the mackie mixer's main outs into the Sony inputs?

2) Do I run from the Delta 1010's 1-4 Inputs into the Mackie's Channel Inserts 1-4?

Thanks for the newbie patience!

1) no
2) no

It's best to use the mixer for the nerve center of your studio. Consider using the amp off the stereo outs of the Mackie and input to the Delta through the direct or aux or buss outs of your mixer. Then use the minidisk off the tape or secondary stereo outs. Mix the outputs of the Delta on the main channels of the Mackie or just monitor he cards stereo outs. Whichever just make sure to leave a couple inputs open for mics.

Think about a patchbay.
