Delta 1010 Problem - Questions

I just got my Delta 1010 but it won't power up. What exactly is it that causes this thing to power up? I think my power adapter must be bad. The driver seemed to install OK.

The other bad-looking thing is that when I go into the monitor mixer, all the H/W input meters are pegged. Is this a normal condition when the rack unit power is off?

This is a huge bummer.

Yes, I think that's normal.

Make sure all your stuff is plugged in correctly. The rack unit should power up when you turn on your computer.

I checked the 9.5v AC output of the adapter with a multimeter and I'm getting 0v, so that seems to be the problem.

Hope they send me a new adapter and don't ask me to ship everything back. I don't want to pay for shipping again.
