Delta 1010 or Luna II ?

Hi people.
Long time reader, first time poster..

I'm buying an audio interface for my project studio, and I have narrowed it down to these two..

What attracted me to both of them:

Delta1010: The price
Luna II: The ultra-low latency (from what I hear)

So.. what would you choose?
Take into account that I would like to use some softsynths and vst /dx instruments in close to "real-time".

Let's say that price is not an issue here, let's imagine they both cost 500$

I've got the 1010 and like it alot. I don't think there's anything I can complain about.

Don't know about Luna.


What's latency?

Delta all the way. It has very low latency (3-11 ms) so if you have a reasonable fast computer, you should be able to work with softsynths in very nearly real-time.

Luna: poor support, DSP power gets used up easily, relatively inflexible.

i'm kind of curious about the creamware stuff....would you elaborate on your statement concerning DSP? i've haven't used any of the creamware stuff, but it always sounded cool.........and i thought it was designed to provide DSP for software, making it possible to run more software at one time than with a card lacking dsp chips. ............just wondering.

Hmm.. What about the MOTU 828 then?
How is it compared to the two others?..

(if you know of any other card of this type in this price range that is better than my suggestions, feel free to add)

Here in norway a semi-pro soundcard costs the same as a small car in the US.. so, bear with me here
