DELTA 1010 OR LAYLA 24 ???

i called guitar center and it is a big crock. this large music stores puzzle me. anyway, i have a question now. is it ok to leave in my SB Live! card, or can i go ahead and sell it? will the delta 1010 to sb emulation for games? or do i have to keep that clunker?
 
Mars is where I picked mine up. They were telling me about a huge shipment they just got in because they sold out for a couple of months
 
I don't think that the delta 1010' s are being discontinued.

THey are now shipping all m-audio cards with Logic Delta (24/96. 16 audio tracks, unlimited midi) and I think it will take a while to get these sytems out. So it is probably true that they don't have the old delta/vegas or delta only cards anymore.
 
I never listen to Mars salesmen...

...when I asked them very specific questions about my setup and MIDI capability I was told a SB card doesn't do MIDI AT ALL and I should right away buy a pro tools setup because I would get "no usable" sound out of my SB...

Well - I called Creative and I do have MIDI capability - and although a SB isn't best for recording it will work...

Hey Robert, i went to those two websites and the price for the 1010 still above 550 with the bundle.
Do anyone know the best web site price ???
