Hi, i jsut got the delta 1010. i have nuendo 2.0 and windows xp. everything works fine except nuendo isnt recognizing the inputs and outputs of the delta 1010 for audio. instead it still recognizes the old soundcard i had (ews 88d). i think it has something to do with the asio driver, which i just noticed there was an updated version of the asipo driver at the m-audio website. thanks for any help

Just uninstall the old soundcard drivers, install the delta ones and reprofile the card.

If you don't need the old card, just pull it. If it's on your mobo, disable it in the bios

i got the drivers from the delta site. but i stil cant seem to get it working.

i have an older version of nuendo which it is registering on, but in version 2.0 its not registering for the ins and outs. in the devices, it wont even show a page for vst ins.

when it does the test for asio it says failed beccause of a sync problem. i dont know what to do

real easy.....call Nuendo for tech support.

cheers,
wade

ok, ive been working on it some more and the old nuendo works fine, i got the audio working, and i can record and everythiung registers fine.
Nuendo 2.0 is still registering my ews88d. ive looked everywhere in my computer and im almost positive that i deleted all the ews88d stuff.

Im thinking maybe there is some asio updates or something?

Provided you have proper ASIO drivers for the 1010 and you've got a good install of Nuendo 2 .... You should be able to click Devices ... then Device Setup ... then click VST Multitrack.
Now at the scroll box for ASIO Driver you should be able to select the Delta driver.
If in that Device Setup window, the titles VST Inputs and VST Outputs aren't listed .... you may need to try and re-install Nuendo 2.
If they are there ... make sure the 1010 In's and Out's show and are set to be visible.
Now click OK .... then press F4 and setup Your VST connections (Mono and/or Stereo busses) and which inputs/outputs to use.

HTH

sounds good, i'll give it a try tommorow. everything use to work fine with my old sound card so im pretty sure nuendo is installed right.
