are you able to record midi with just a delta 1010 installed in your computer?
provided you have a midi keyboard hooked up.......

Yes. I've been messing around a bit with my cheapo controller keyboard, and Steinberg B4 VST plug-in. Records the midi data fine.

thanks!!!

thanks for the info.
my next question is-----
i have an ensoniq SQ1
i am able to dump the midi data into my sonar program. when i close the "song im working on", it doesnt retain the data.
what am i doing wrong?

how can i dump a midi seq through a korg triton and my delta 1010? i use cubase and nuendo...

The quick and dirty way is to hit record on your computer and play on your Workstation. Set up each track to transmit on a seperate channel and set up your recorder to record on those channels.

There is also a midi song dump method but I dont exchange sequences often so I havent used it.

i have the triton in sync with nuendo so i can record the audio fine, but i want to do a midi dump...
