Delta 1010 and 44 compatability

I know you can use more than one delta 1010 but I was wondering if you can use a 1010 and a 44 together, and have 12 simultanious tracks?

Hasn't there been trouble with noise and crackle when running two Delta's??? I seem to remember a guy even putting up a dedicated page on this. At least you should check this on Deja if you're thinking of putting down money...

It was that two deltas didn't work right on 2K/XP. I never heard if that issue was resolved.
