I ran the "clean disc" as instructed, but when trying to dump new wave tracks it still comes up "out of memory".Is there some other trick with cwpro 9 that I'm missing???

What do you mean by "trying to dump new wave track"?

And maybe, just maybe are you short on memory?

I'm recording on a fostex mr8 and dumping tracks individually onto cw,but while dumping my 3rd track the message came up.I've put more than this on it before

Hmmm... maybe you've got a program hoging all the memory. Check that by pressing Ctrl+Alt+Del.

And I've had issues like these before. The cause of it was a virus! You can check that online here: http://housecall.trendmicro.com/

Did you empty the recycle bin? If you were pushing your HD to its space limit, and deleted stuff using the clean audio thingy, it isn't "off" your hardrive until you empty the recycle bin.

cstockdale was right... You need to empty recycle bin.

BTW, picker523, you didn't mention how much RAM do you have ?

But I thoght you got a "Low harddrive space"-warning before that was a problem...

I thought so, but look at his post again, he said "Out of Memory". Actually, they are two different issues (Low HD space and Out of memory)...

I tried dumping the track again and it did the same thing, so I went back and re-recorded the part and this time it took it fine.I dont know what happened but it's fine now. Thanks for your input and if you should ever run into this problem maybe this will help.
