i'm sure this product exists...i'm looking for a simple delay pedal that has individual time and level controls for each repetition (like many plugins). to be more specific, i'd like to create a "gallup" feel with a delay pedal...so each time i hit a note, there would be a variable pause, and then two quick variable repeats to follow: da...da-da.

can anyone suggest a pedal that has such specific delay parameters?

There are quite a few rackmount processors with that feature and are generally a lot easier to set up. I use an old Digitech GSP-21 Pro for my multitap needs.

so i guess i'm in the market for a multi-tap delay pedal. i'm hoping to find something simple and affordable...any suggestions? the memory man looks pretty good...anything else in that price range? with the memory man, i think i'd be paying for features i'd never use...

The Boss DD20 has a multi-tap function, as well as a tap tempo function which I think is the most important thing a delay pedal can have (I wouldn't buy a delay which didn't have tap tempo, personally).
