Nice work...I wish I had the patience to record something so mistakeless as this.

Hah! I think you invented a new word. I also think you missed a mistake or three. But thank you very much for listening.

Well done! You sing very well. (I think)
Was the song "Holy night" was played on piano or was it Hypersonic VST?
Anyway I liked it a lot.
keep posting

Thanks, sikter!

O Holy Night was done on a Roland digital piano.

Don

You voice sound oh so familiar.
Nice work, well done. As to why?
It does need a solo, p'haps not screaming but chiming at least. C'mon - you gone so far with this - go the extra step.

Thanks, rayc. If I can find a guitar player who can do it justice, I'll add a solo. Otherwise, maybe I'll put some keys on it. Who knows.

I got rid of the glitch, by the way, so give it another listen if you get a chance.

Aint there some sort of copyright on the original. :)
Sounds nice.
The falalalala vox bits stick out a bit, I would compress them more. Also the guitars could do with more compression as there are parts that the attach sticks out too much.

Good stuff. And I like the very end bit although the guitar distorts on the last hit.

Thanks, Eck. AFAIK the copyright on the song expired a couple hundred years ago.

There's tons of compression on the guitars already, but I'll consider setting the attack time lower, or maybe adding a limiter. I'll also consider your suggestion regarding the fa-la-la's.

The distortion on the bass and gits is partly due to the fact that I accidentally used the wrong power supply on my ART "toob" preamp -- 500ma instead of the 800ma unit that came with the preamp. I didn't notice until I unplugged it after the session was over. By that time, you could have fried a (very small) egg on the wall wart.

When I record I slap a limiter on the input just as a precaution incase I get any clipping. It very rarely hits the limiter though.

Eck

Cool funky gtrs and good vocal tone. I'd compress the gtrs less and use automation if they need leveling.

Thanks for the suggestion, Tim. I don't often do electric guitars, so I need all the help I can get. I suppose if I really wanted a good tone, I'd mike an amp instead of going direct.

Thanks for listening!
