Looking to get one of these mics. I realize there is no best in this catagory, mostly just different.

I record in my home, mostly bedroom. I rarely do vocals, this is more for guitar amps(DRRI and tweed deluxe clone), acoustic guitar and drum overheads, and rarely piano.

I currently have

1 SM57
1 Cascade Fathead II
1 AT 2020 condenser(its not got a very big diaphragm I see)

I think my condenser is ok but I'd like something with a better quality and maybe a little character.

Your thoughts?

Why not get another fathead? for over heads, guitar amps. But for an acoustic guitar you may want to get a SDC and a LDC.

well, mostly because I want another sound. I'm ok with just one fathead because its not really my favorite for overheads or acoustic, but I like it on guitar amps - its not too bad on piano.

I feel like I have a good dynamic and decent ribbon, but Im not so crazy about my at 2020 condenser. So I'm kind of looking for a condenser thats a little more "special"

Maybe to use with my current condenser for two overheads.
