Thanks for giving me a portion of my own money back.

So, what are you doing with your tax return (assuming you get one)...?

I think I'm going to cop a mic or two. A Shure KSM27 and an AT4050 are on my list of mics I want. I used to use a KSM27 back in the day, and I ditched it for some cash. I like my current mic, especially on vocalists with deeper voices, yet I simply LOVE the AT4050 and I really dig the KSM27 as well.

So that's about $1000 of my return gone right there... I'll prolly pay off my only remaining credit card which has $1800 left on it. The rest will go into savings, unless my wife decides she absolutely needs something. Which I'm sure she will...lol..

I'm expecting to get about $4000 back this year. I hope I'm right...

Watch me owe or something...lol.. That'd really piss me off.

I got my return last weekend and blew it immediately. Got a new G30 and holster, also got another gig of ram. I ended up digging into my savings account because my eyes were bigger than my tax return. It's times like this I wish I had kids of my own...lol I've watched this chick sell all 4 of her kids to other people as dependents for 1,000 each at the job.

All I can say now is "I'M BROKE BIYATCH!"

Dogg, I'm already knowin'. I owed quite a bit but their arrear payoff check is coming to them as we speak. That's about 4,500 gone right there, but it's to keep shit right with my kid as I fight her moms to get my visitation (AND to claim her on taxes since her moms don't work but cockblocks me from doing it). I'll give ya'll details about that shit here in a few days when we have our visitation mediation hearing.

Actually, I just came into some good money. So I paid off my shit and am cleaning up my credit. So I'm about to build a new computer for recording. My old PC just isn't cutting it (which is why I didn't make any new songs after the last one).

So once they get that check and I get my lien of release me and my wife will file taxes and should get 2,500 back , which I'm thinking will probably go into the savings account so it can draw some interest

(yo Mindset, if you're married, my wife knows a workaround to keep you from having your taxes taken for child support arrears which is totally within the rules homie...if you're single though you're fucked....sorry homie)

the way it looks so far, my wife and I didn't pay a single cent in Fed. taxes. how? well, we donated a lot, and paid even more in school tuitions and other costs, and a little extra for school loan interest payments, so that dropped our adjusted gross WAY low. so we're getting the full amount back that we should have paid had we not adjusted anything. (did that make sense??) who cares, we're getting back more than twice what we did last year.
