De-Normalling a Patchbay (not in FAQ)

OK, it's crazy, it's lunacy, but I need OPEN, DE-NORMALLED circuits in my Tascam PB-32H. I have it apart and can't figure out which circuit on the board to break. The manual shows how to make circuits parallel, but not to de-normal the little animals...I'm NOT an electronical-minded individual, but I understand the basics, and can solder with the best of 'em... :rolleyes:

I also have a Behringer Ultra-Patch, and with the exterior mode switches it's like heaven compared to the Tascam.

Anybody dare approach this?
 
Hmmm, well the manual is showing me something I don't want in a parallel config.

Right now I have 16 pairs of normalled jacks--I need 32 independant signal paths...
 
unconnect the jumpers and they will all be independent of each other
 
Uh, ok, momentarily excusing my circuit board ignorance, would I be correct in assuming that the jumper is what appears to be a connection between the tip contacts? These jacks are all enclosed and mounted to circuit boards, so I'm guessing here...I realize that common senses 101 should apply, but I don't want to spend the next week figuring this out.

I have a Dremel with a cutting wheel that will work great for opening the circuits, as long as I know which is the circuit to open...
 
There should be some sort of jumper between the top and bottom connections, you should be able to "unconnect" there without the use of power tools. If not just buy a neutrik or try your surgery first, then buy a neutrik
