DDR memory differences

I have bought a Asus p4b533 mother board, it uses ddr2100 memory. After looking on price watch for memory for this board i find there are several different kinds-registered-unregistered and
high density-standard density,EEC-nonEEC. Can some one please tell me what is best for music recording only. Is generic as good for the money as premium. I am truthfully lost on this. What type memory do I need to order for this board. thanks Tom T.

This should help. You probably don't need ECC or registered memory - these are typically found on workstations and servers. You should get quality memory though, ie Crucial, Samsung, Mushkin, etc..

Go to crucial and look up your motherboard...it will give you all the appropriate options. Get unregistered non-ECC.
