Any comments on this pre/comp/3 band w/Mid-Q EQ/De-sser. I found a couple used (MINT CONDITION!) for $300 each. Good deal?

I'd say! I've got the 386 and I'd buy the channel strip for that price in a heartbeat if I needed another pair of pres.
 
I'm convinced...

I've always had a lot of reapect for DBX components but the only info I could find about the performance of this strip was always linked back to the DBX web site...

I actually put some money down for him to hold them for me while I looked up the specs on them.

They've only had signal running through them twice. Guy's putting together a commercial studio and figured he should use seperate components rather than the strip.
