I think I'm ready to take the plunge into the worlfd of DAW, but I don't know jack about what to look for in a computer. I think I'm going to have my friend build it for me (PC Freek with experience doing that sort of thing) and I'm just after some specs of what I'll want. I wont be doing any more than 16 tracks total ever....and no more than a 1010 can handle simultaneously, so I don't think I need something super crazy. I'll also most likely use a Yamaha MG 16 for preamps for the time being. I've had an AMD Sempron system reccommended to me at one point, but I don't know anything about them so I can't really comment. So please, someone give me some specs on what I want.....Hardrive, RAM, Memory, Drives, whatever other technical jargon I need to tell my buddy........any help is appreciated. Thanks a ton.
