I've been using my 1176 compressor going in. But now I'd like to try it on the vox track in post just to give it a little punch but no idea how to hook it up. Yes i'm aware that it is embarrassing to own my gear and ask questions like these.
I'm going from apogee ensemble analog out into 1176 in, then out from 1176 into ensemble's analog in.. right? but how do I make it work in ableton? I'm guessing Resampling? I'm used to the session view. I also have logic (but new to it) if it's easier to do this in logic..
also can i do the same with 2-610 preamps? They have tubes in them - could be interesting to try to use it on the master track, maybe it'll glue things a bit.
