Data transfers between VF-16 & VF-160

I've been having problems with data transfer between the 2 units - the VF-16 has an external plextor cd burner and I can transfer data from that to the VF-160 but can't sucessfully transfer the other direction.....

Anybody have this problem ? Possibly a software issue ? Both machines appear to use the same FDMS-3 format for writing the data disks......

Have you considered using the ADAT lightpipe to transfer the tracks from one machine to the other instead of the CDRs? There shouldn't be any software issues. Only the raw binary data of the tracks is transferred this way so you'll loose any mixing information and to transfer more than 8 tracks you'd need to do two passes in which case using MTC to synchronize the machines would be advisable.
