Straight Jacket Sunday Page - Song - "Rainy Day"

This one is another instrumental. I wrote this weekend in the dark rainy North East USA. It kind of brings me through what I feel like on a rainy day, therefore I named it "Rainy Day".

I atempted to do some faster solos in some areas. I'm still getting used to the thought of adding more solos to my songs since I am primarily a rhytem player.

I may end up making this album an all instrumental one. Anyway, let me know what you think of this one...

Cool tune..I like it. Nice tones here. Personally, I like your voice...it's unique, in a good way, so if you stuck some vox to it, I'd like it more.... :D

Very cool is all I can say. Nice and heavy. I like it a lot. I can hear Phil Anselmo here....

And nice playing man..sounds very good to me.

I think I'm discouraged on vox right now... Mainly because I hate how the "Without Reason" song sounds with my vox over it. They I tried screaming, and I still don't like it... Actually, I really really don't like it...

Maybe I'll give it a run and see what happens with this one and they go back to "Without Reason" for another try at it.

Cool man, like the synth sound in there and lead playing definitely adds to the song. Almost wouldn't mind hearing more growing synth parts in there during some sections. Sounds like you could bring the bass up a bunch, it's not doing much on my system. Overall tight performance and I like the way the music changes often.. keeps things interesting. Cool track man ;)

Well I listened to it..then went back and listened to Without Reason after reading a little farther down. I was preparing myself for something disastrous initially, but it didn't end up that way at all. Your voice is unique in a good way imo. If you had a vocal line in mind for Rainy Day, I'd say give it a shot. But anyway...

Rainy Day itself -- I agree with most of what's already been said. Love your rythm guitar sound, sits very well in your mix -- especially when the drums pick up speed.
