This is my nephews band called "lowercase"
Song......."Danglingman"
Please go easy on these guy's or at worst just be honest.

I was pleasantly surprised at what they did.

And it gave me a good oportunity to record another band.

The recording sounds pretty good! What did you use? The drums came out pretty good I think. The guitar was very in-your-face. I like the background screams, capt maybe I'd like to hear then a little louder! Over the vocals I believe should really come up in the mix a bit. For real. God job though!

Thanks rats. I used my new joemeek VC6Q British channel pre. Used it on the overhead mikes, guitar and vocals. What blew me away was what it does with guitar and vocals. Expecially guitar. This pre takes my Alesis A13 converters to a whole new level. Absolutely love the British Channel Pre.

I find little reason for you to apologize for their work. This was a fine tune. I thought the drums sounded a little thin, and the vocals got a little loose in places and agree with rats that it generally needed to be a little louder.

Thanks drstawl, It was fun recording them and they brought a good vibe into the room.
I'm going to do some more on the drum mix. Just fattening a bit on the overall drum sound should do it. And your right, the vocal could definately sit a bit higher in the mix.

Scott.
