When I first met my wife, she was in a relationship with someone else ... and there was talk of wedding plans in their future.

Yet, sometimes, in the pinball game of life ... someone or something comes out of left field and changes everything.

The transition out of the first relationship to the second wasn't a smooth ride, and though we knew there was a spark of something really special between us, there were times that neither one of us were certain what the hell was going on.


That's what this song is about: Dangling on a Thread


It's a basic piano/vocal arrangement, written now 30 years back.

Cool song. Pretty haunting melody. The piano could use some sparkle and some verb in my opinion.

The vocals aren't perfect but the subject matter matches how the song was performed.

Music from experience is always the most interesting to me. Well done.
