Danelectro, anyone?

Hey all,

Anyone ever tryed any of the danelectro, the price of the pedals are pretty cheep, im looking into the "DJ4 Corned Beef" Reverb, anyone ever tryed it, or any of the danelectro range?

I used one or two of the miniature distortions ... Pastrami rings a bell ... they were cool and a little different. Check out the reviews on Harmony Central to gauge a consensus.

Seems like this is something of a polarising pedal!!!

I've had 2 echo units from them. Very solid and well made. Both sounded good; no distortions in the echo. I've got the Dan Echo on my board and I sold the Reel Echo to a friend at a loss, trying to be a good guy. (What an ass I am!)

Some of them are a great value, but DO NOT BUY THE CORNED BEEF, it's terrible. The hashbrowns flanger, milkshake chorus, PB&J delay, and chicken salad vibrato are quite usable.

I`ve got the cool cat, I think thats a good one, I`ve also got the the daddy`o distrotion, wich is a bit metalish for me, but not bad quality.
I`ve tried one delay pedal of danelectro, dont remeber the name but it sucked.

I don't know how they build themn so CHEAP !!
I've repaired a few of them.They are of thin build but get away with an economy sound.I like them.But not for everything.
