Hope I don't post too many tracks..... come on guys also post some work :D
I do. Always covers though. I have many originals but saving them from scrutiny here seems prudent to me. And you are not posting too much. Keep 'em coming. I'll check this one out in a bit and get back to you.

I've listened 3 or 4 times. Sounds great! I like the techno stuff at the beginning (I guess that's what it's called. If it isn't, find it your heart to forgive me). It reminds me of (NOT that it sounds like) Joe Satriani when Satch made the techno album "Engines Of Creation". Some of your licks sounded Satriani-esque though in my opinion. Excellent job.

Don't worry ;)
No idea what it's called, I'm not a fan of electronic Music.

Vai, satch, may are my main influences in my "style" so that's a huge compliment. Thx.

I'm not really into techno either, although I will admit Satch's album I mentioned grew on me. Keep up the great work Frank!

Fun track, Frank. Great tones and playing - as usual. I dig the 535Q as well. It's been with me on stage and in studio for about 25 years now. There's a lotta hoopla about wah's - my needs are simple and I don't over think it. The 535Q or my old standard silver Vox. If it ain't broke don't fix it.

Did you mic the Carvin? One mic, two mics blended?

And you work in Logic exclusively?

Logic indeed.
This time it was straight into the captor.
The pre amps i mostly run through the ENGL and the cab.

I'm using the slate digital ml2 on the cab with a blend of the vintage 57 and r121. But I'm always experimenting ;)

The 535q is super flexible. Working on a track now where i use it in different settings ;)

As a constructive critique - and I know sometime this stuff is intentional - there a couple of spots where I'm hearing what sounds like digital distortion. Like at 0:48 for instance. Sounds like what I hear when a mastering processor is peaking/overloading. Again - that may be what you were going for.

But yeah - this one is fun and seems a little more refined than some of your other stuff. :thumbs up:

That was actually in the sample loop. It also irritated me a bit.

But i thought if polyphia can get away with it....thanks man :)
