The d.c. space Reunion is happening Sunday, July 29th at the 9:30 Club. Tickets are $20, doors at 7:15PM.

This is an event you do not want to miss. This will be a convergance of a lot of the great folks who were at the core of a scene that "put D.C. on the map."

I guarantee that if you face does not melt at some point in the evening, your jaw will have dropped at least twice.

No!!! That was the Bayou, and it was the antithesis of the D.C. scene!!!!

But anyway, it's still not to late to make plans to attend this soon-to-be-historic event!

P.S. I plan to update this thread every day until the event.

This is gonna be big. d.c. space was one of those rare places that was the launching pad for a lot of great D.C. bands.

If you're local and you miss this, then you are missing out on a part of history.

At the corner of 7th and E Streets, N.W. And the only reason they didn't tear the building down is because they discovered an old former office of Clara Barton that had been sealed off for years. It still had gas light fixtures when they found it.
