Cymbals brands - what are everyones thoughts???

I use mostly Zildjian A customs, but am very fond of some of the Paragon series from Sabian. I've ditched my Zildjian A ride for the Paragon, and am using a Paragon china. I'm likely to pick up some of the hats as well.
 
I'm a zildjian man, but some saluda's are reeeeal tempting...... i AM in the market for some mini-hats.....
 
i never posted here because after almost 9 years you'd think the thread would've died. congrats to QQ for starting an eternal thread!

it's zildjian all the way, as long as we're talking high end. their cheap stuff blows goats, but the K line is unparallelled for richness and complexity, and the avedis line is classic perfection. i've auditioned pretty much everything, and i always come back to zildjian.

my 2 cents anyway. may i be the clown that finally kills this thread.
 
Hey, just gonna jump in and keep the eternal thread burning...first post.

I've got a set of Zildjians and a Paiste set and love them both. Completely different sounds but it depends on the mood and sound I'm after as to which I prefer at any given time.
 
i don't own any but my ideal cymbal set would be MEINL MB20s
 
i spent about 500 on a aax cymbal pack from sabian.
very pleased with the sound of each cymbal...
i got 14inch hats, 16 crash, 18 crash and a 20 ride.
