When i have multiple tracks (digital audio), more than 6, or just a couple of tracks that extend for a longer amount of time (10min-1 hour)...first of all, it takes forever for the waveforms to appear from being indistinguishable, then after a short time of listening or working on the project...some or all of the wavefroms dissapear, which makes it damn near impossible to edit and work with! I can still hear the audio playing though. Can someone pleeeeeeeasssse tell me what is happening and how i can remedy the problem. Thanks!

I am working with a intel PIII, 600mhz processor,256MB of Ram and windows 98se.

Side Note: On projects with long playtime, i am getting occasional dropouts...same projects as above. Thanks again...any info is appreciated!!

I have experienced the same thing with the disappearing wav pics....the dropouts or skips? could be many things usually first see whats running in the backround then perhaps adjust your latency to the safest setting.
Hope someone has an answering to the track problem.

me too durn it

Same thing -- -durn waves disappear -- tried messing with display proerties to no avail -- what is the deal?

Have you tried to compact the audio data? I have two tracks of about an hour of music, when I got to a certain point with editing the audio it just went flat. So I took a chance with compact audio data, and it worked.

Hope this helps.
