Hi all. Sorry for this beginner question.
I have CWHS on my home computer, and I just brought home a new Korg Triton Studio from work to learn. The problem is that I can't get the patches to match the sounds on the Korg. Each patch makes sound, but not always what the Korg is making. I've downloaded the instrument definitions for the Korg, and I get the right GM sounds, but not the other program banks. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks! This is helping. My NEW problem is... in some patch windows, there are just numbers listed insted of instrument names, and sometimes, still the instruments sounding on the Korg aren't what's listed in the patch window, i.e. I choose Harisichord in CW, and I get saxophone from the Korg. Gosh, I feel stupid ARRGG!

I hear ya...I have a Triton LE...never been able to get it to call up the patches correctly either. If you ever get this sorted out, please let me know as well.

I've tried the .ins developer tool and fiddled with it on and off again for about a year. No progress.

Perhaps someone out there with our particular instruments could make an .ins file which is known to work?
