i need a custom rackmountable patchbay with an odd arrangment of TRS and XLR connectors. can anyone reccomend a place to get this done?

thanks,
jon.

actually, a rackmountable 48-point XLR patchbay (24 males and 24 females on the front, and 24 males and 24 females on the back) would work. does anyone know where i can find one of those?

jon.

just curious .... how do you plan to wire that? why do you need male xlrs on the front?

I suggest building one. Get the connectors and some plate aluminum. 1 7/8" holes fit the XLR plugs nicely and two tiny holes will mount them. As for the back, I would put point blocks and either solder or screw set the leads in back.

If it's for a mic panel you could just make a multipin connector snake that goes to the console with a break for mobility.

Custom stuff is the best.
