Hello all

I recently purchased a BLUE Bluebird microphone with its custom shock/pop kit... Earlier today my microphone fell over and the pop filter was bent, upon bending it back, it snapped completely off! First of all its frustrating to have it break so easily, but Im asking if:

I should purchase the custom pop again? Or purchase a generic one?

Also, where can I get JUST the pop for this mic, or if you recommend a different one, please provide a link.

Thanks in advance

I have that pop and actually prefer the cheaper cloth filters.

I think Ill just get a generic one instead... Unfortunate, but I dont think the custom one warrants the price.

It doesn't warrant the price, I made the guy at GC throw in the shockmount/popfilter for free and he knocked a hundred bucks off the baby bottle. Paid 500 bucks out the door. If that hadn't happened I wouldn't have bought the pop filter.

I found that pop filter absolutely useless.

all pop folter oopinion aside, when i find that plastic/cheap etal stuff breaks, rather than tossing it and buyin a replacement, i can usually fix it with some form or epoxy. They make stuff that is for general use, for plastics, metals, etc and as a rule it will be stronger than the original material.

if youa re the kind of person who can't stand there to be a belmish on anything like that you own, then it wouldn; tbe your thing, but i prefer to wear stuff out rather than replace and I've fixed a ton of small stuff with a dab of epoxy here and there.

Eh, think about it this way, the pop filter broke instead of your mic

That pop filter looks cool, but it's worthless...Mine's buried in a closet somewhere now.
