Custom Avatar

Im not sure if this is where to post it, but how to I use a custom avatar? Ive seen other people with photos of themselves etc but i dont know how to do it...

Go to UserCP, then profile, then avatar and make sure you have a picture that is within the size limits. There are some sites that edit up the photos for you to the required size. Type in 'online avatar maker' into google if you are having trouble. If you have your own image program like JASC then you should be right.

I went into UserCP and click on Edit Profile in the control panel, assuming thats what you meant, but it didnt say anything about Avatar in it... in the control panel it has Edit Avatar..?

Read the faq, i forget where it's at, I believe 250 posts gets you a custom avatar or the ability to use one. That's why there are a few threads around here not in the cave that "let" people to mass post to build up their numbers. IF that's your thing then have at it.

Yup .... you need to have a certain number of posts before the option to upload your own custom avatar is available.
250 sounds about right. Been so long ago.

Another question... look at my name near my avatar... it says under it Registered User... Ive seen other people with different sayings can I change that?
