cubase vocal editing???

Hi guys, What do I use to make vocal stand out from the instruments sound, not make it loud but stand out so that I would hear the vocal more obviuos, If i need a special plugins that I would use please let me know..ta

EQ and compression is all you need. Take out some low end and add 2k.

Compress it to even the volume out a little. That's it.

Answer after de-esser:
When your singer's vocal tracks sound way too sibilant.
