cubase upgrade

hey i have cubase essentials 5 .. i want to upgrade to the full version, can i purchase and upgrade, i know you can from version 4 or sx ... if i can .. can anyone please tell me which one to purchase ? . or am i stuck buying the full stand alone version of 5
 
You could try contacting Cubase and asking them.

If you get Kyle or Jeff I would ask for someone else. Those two do not know the program and have wasted so much of my time I can't tell you.

If you get an answer from Steinberg, don't accept it as true until you confirm for yourself that it is. The customer support is absolutely horrible - they don't know the program.
 
oh great ... lol ... as much as i like cubase, steinbergs help has been kind of hopeless
