Faster processing, real-time time stretch....more editing ideas...more hardware support....

it is meant to have 70 new features ....

if you have SX2 I think its $49 to upgrade, I am still trying to find out how much to upgrade from SL to SX3

I believe that Cubase SX 2 also just dropped to $399 as well. That would make SX3 only $449 in the end:D

So it seems:)

aparantly its going to reveiwed in a coupel days in a German online mag..not sure what one.

I was going to upgrade from SL2 to SX2 for £300 ....now I dont know how much it was cost to get me upgraded...to SX3 that it....???

I've seen a lot of talk in the Cubase.net forums as well on this stuff.

It'll get here, when it gets here. I'm too busy making music to care about an upgrade right now. I will contribute some logical thoughts I read over there, here:

Upgrade won't be $49 USD for everyone owning SX2. I subscribe to this point of view. Maybe if you purchased within a month of a new release, I could see it. ONE store online is doing this now. I wouldn't plan on $49.

That's all I have to say. Back to making music and not obessing over the new upgrade and what it'll cost (kinda kidding there so don't get crazy on me)

The only way I'll pay for an upgrade at this point is if they finally add support to run the Tascam FW-1884 in native mode.

Frankly, I'm kinda pissed that they would come out with a new payable version so soon after Cubase SX 2 was released. I payed close to $1000 Cdn for the stupid thing....

Some belive that the sx3 thing is a rumour, guess we will have to wait and see:)

This is kinda cool:

"External FX Plugins allow for direct integration of external hardware effects processors into the VST audio mixer. Use your favorite outboard gear just like plugins – including automatic delay compensation."
