Cubase SX problem

Morning all

I recently got cubase sx and have a Saffire sound card also and am having problems with it recognising it i think. (I had cubase LE before and everything worked fine!!)

When cubase boots up it scans through all your midi and effects, plug ins, data converters etc and then freezes when it gets to 'saffire amp sim'. Seems to me like it's not recognising it in some way but i'm not sure why. Can anyone help??!!??

try reinstalling drivers and search google for people with the same problem

Do you have the dongle plugged in?
