Cubase sound randomly quits

the cpu doesn't freeze and if I quit and re-open the song, it plays fine (temporarily).
Sometimes the sound stops and comes back, sometimes it just quits entirely. I have a g-4, 350 mhz, 128 mb ram...seasound solo ex soundcard.
Anyone run into a similar problem?
 
I have a similar problem but it's only on the demo version that I was given in the store.

I thought that perhaps as I have a 5400 IDE drive the problem will go away once I upgrade to a 7200 drive.

BTW, it sure sounds good!

Have you checked under tools>system within Cubase. What in your soundcard driver listed there, Does the seasound support ASIO? Is it select as directX?

Also, Under Start>Programs>Steinberg. There should be some configuration programs there as well, setupmme etc. Play around with those and see if it helps.
 
man, I just realized your running it on a Mac, - names should be the same, just a different route.
