My source files were recorded at 48kBs rather than 44.1. I'm using Cubase VST/32 to adjust tracks to ready for mastering CD. How do you set up the program so that the waveform and audio line up? Is there a way to convert the files to 44.1? When I exported to Toast, the distortion was horrible. Does anyone have a work-around? Thanks.

My equipment is last century iBook G3, OS9, Alesis HD-24, Cubase VST/32, and stale Toast.

You can convert the sample rate easily in Audacity (free download)
I've just looked at Audacity and you can do it by changing speed. You can do it directly in wavelab lite, or when exporting from Cubase
