Hi people,
lately, my studio has been producing tracks for some R&B singers. I now want to use Cubase as my main sequencer and use the Reaktor soft synth programme along side Cubase. however as Cubase opens my MIDI port on my ISIS,reaktor can'topen a MIDI port. I got this thing called Virtual midi cable but I haven't a clue how to use it. Someone help?! Also, is there any way of using MIDI timecode to start Cubase playing a project? i've tried but it doesn't work!
Thanks for reading!

For Reactor and Cubase. Check your MIDI configuration. If you use a software Synt, it would be normal that your Soundcard will take care of the Midi. I presume at this moment Reactor uses it's virtual MIDI out port towards the MIDI in of the soundcard. Put "Local of" in Reactor. Maybe you are having a Midi-loop-back.

With an outboard Sequencer you should be able to use Midi timecode. A keyboard with buil-in sequencer also can stand up to this task. Cubase must be set slaved to the Sequencer. Set up is in the manual.
Hope I helped some.
I don't use any of your gear.
