Im totally new to digital recording and have Cubase VST....and i recorded some drum tracks to a 4 channel fostex then recorded them into Cubase...i added some reverb and eqed so they sound pretty good....but when i try to export the track as a wave file it say "please set locaters to a usable point" and i cant get it to export....i just want to export it to a folder on my desktop and convert it over to mp3 format to burn it to cd and give to my guitarist.any help is appreciated.

There are 2 little locators directly above track one if I remember corectly. They are marked L & R. To set the left one point the cursor just before the beginning of the song directly above track one and left click. To set the Right one go to the end of the song and right click past the end just above track one. Once you set the markers then you can export the wav file.

Your welcome. Don't feel stupid. I had a comp/limiter for almost 8 months and couldn't figure out how to use it till I got here. We all need more education and thank God for this site. Read, read, read here then go back to your support manuals for your equipment and read somemore. There's a wealth of knowledge here and everyday I'm learning more and starting to be able to optimize my equipment.
It's a new dawn!
